A couple years back, I purchased the bible on tape from a thrift store. Yep, the entire Old Testament in twelve cassettes. It wasn't narrated by Larry King & half the tapes were missing from the case. I recorded over them, as the years went on & mostly used the bible case for transporting multiple tapes in the same space of most iPods & their accessories take up.

This is what I'm packing in my "good book" over vacation.

"The Summer of Discord"

This is the mix I mentioned two posts ago. Made in July, it expresses my true feelings of this summer. I made it with a pen pal in mind & will be mailing it out shortly.

"When there's no enemies I sit & stare at my TV"

When I said "post in a few days" I meant over a month later. So here it is September & that means this blog is a year old. Ye-ah! But the mix I have for you today is actually my August mix & a gift for my friend Sophie.

Buh-buh-buh-birthday.

It's birthday month & I got two mix tapes from Kisston. Radical.

"I don't wanna do shit!" & "Tigers in the woods & cameras in the skies..."

I didn't get around to making myself a birthday mix this year. But I have another summer tape that I'll post in a few days.

"Some things about summer never change"

Boy howdy! My PC took a dump on me at the end of April, so I've been unable to make any mixtapes for over a month. No wonder I've been so damn nervous. But I've spent some time exploring the wonderful world of Mac & finished my summer mixtape.
& it's a double!
FINALLY!

Anyone care to trade?

"The Vermillion Sands...& some other stuff"

I've searched high & low & finally came up with enough songs by The Vermillion Sands to put on a 60 minute tape along with a half finished mix I started a week ago. Recently, my friend Will had asked me to make a copy of a cassette from his collection. While I was at it, I made a second copy of the Vermillion Sands tape.

Maybe it's for you?
